Re: kitaco oil cooler help!

To find out if it is working, run the engine and touch the oil cooler, if it is hot, it's working, if not start looking for the clog....

Did you have oil pressure getting to the head before you installed the cooler ?

Re: kitaco oil cooler help!

take the cooler off, put some rubbing alcohol in one side and see if it comes out the other or use can use compressed air, just turn down your regulator if its set high.

You better take off that head plate then and make sure the gasket isnt blocking the passageway or something goofy. Try blowing through one fitting and see if it flows through the cooler.

Re: kitaco oil cooler help!

okay here is the update, if i lean my bike over it will get oil in the line then eventually it will start pumping it by itself, does this mean i need a high volume oil pump or something?

Re: kitaco oil cooler help!

okay so i thought my oil pump was bad so i took off my entire right side apart and something is missing inside of the oil pump, so i need to just order a new one. life sucks but here is the tear down and ignore the red tires there for street use to destroy instead of my nice dunlops. im also thinking about selling the frame soon its a red baron factory G2 frame
