Foot brake bent in, possible problem? Just bought a 50 and didn't realize it until i got home that the foot brake has been bent in and looks like it bent in the side of the motor, I'm not very mechanically savvy so I'm not sure what part that is.. It does not look cracked.. just a little messed up. The bike runs very well so I'm just wondering if it's something I should be worried about? I can get pics later if I'm I'm doing a bad job describing it. Thanks for any help!

Re: Foot brake bent in, possible problem? If it's not leaking oil out then it's not cracked and you shouldn't worry about it. Bend the pedal out and check it often so you don't crack the case.

Re: Foot brake bent in, possible problem? Can you still press it? Or is it bent too far in...If its not usable anymore, no biggie, just buy a new one...Stock or aftermarket...I'm pretty sure that someone here has one for you ...Just post in the classfieds that you want a break pedal.

Re: Foot brake bent in, possible problem? pedal is bent in but the side of the motor case has a dent in it.. ill just bend the foot pedal back, i have a hand brake anyway... Same thing on the shifter side too but the case has less damage on that side and the shifter is less bent.. If it wont blow up my engine leaving it like it is, ill leave it.
