crf50 key

I have an 05 crf50 that has a key for the ignition i was wondering if all of the models have the same key or each bike is different since i want to have/make a spare..thanks

mine had a key but i lost the key so i just un hooked it from the eletrical

well i still have the key it came with but i was looking to get a backup just in case i lose it..so i was wondering if all the crfs have the same key or each bike is different

They might be ? doubtful though.My old 4wheelers key was not the same as my friends we had same year/mke/models eccept his was red and his key did not work.

the crf's key is simply a kill switch so if you unplug the wires the bike will still start....so if you ever have a problem like if you lose it and need to start it, trace the wires and pull them, kick and go.

none of the other honda share the same key, i doubt they do...

+1 Just remove your key altogether, anyone that wants to ride can just unplugg it anyway

To the whole unplug comments..its not that i'm worried about someone taking it i was just wondering if i would have to make a double of the key but i'm pretty sure a few answered my question; that most likely they dont have the same key.

Out of all my friends with 50s, none of of have the same key.
