Re: 70 vs 50 head youll be alot better off running that 70 head, throw it on there with the carb and intake and you wil be set. not quite as fast as a race head but not too far behind

Re: 70 vs 50 head Figure in a domed piston, or it will be a slug. The 70/race/e22 chamber is a lot bigger and needs a dome for compression.

Re: 70 vs 50 head Is this a e22?eBay Motors: Lifan Head with valves pit RCM (item 330251360860 end time Oct-07-08 11:38:40 PDT) Looks like one from the specs.

Re: 70 vs 50 head The eBay one is actually a little nicer port than a regular e22, plus bigger finning. I hear they can make a decent amount of power, once a little port work is done

Re: 70 vs 50 head I love e22's once ported they are an excellent cheap mod. Get the crower G2 cam at AHPminis and you will be hauling booty.

Re: 70 vs 50 head Correct me if I am wrong but does "domed" mean the high compression piston? I have the same parts so I want to make sure I get the right piston.

Re: 70 vs 50 head how much more comp. do i need in a piston? Could i just mill the head to make up for it i really do not want to swap pistons yet.

Re: 70 vs 50 head Milling the head won't do it. You'll fight cam chain issues, and still never get over 8:1 compression. Buy a $43-59 piston, ya cheap fuk

Re: 70 vs 50 head TB kit to complete the head is aboot $30. Email Mike and tell him you want a race head spring kit. Comes with everything the eBay head is lacking, except a cam. Run a China 5.5 takeout for trail and mild MX, DrATV ($36-45) for a better top end. His ad says long cam, but I've got both before, so I'd wait to get them to order cams.

Re: 70 vs 50 head I would throw your 88 kit on the 70 bottom end along with the 70 head. It has a better clutch and tranny ratio.

Re: 70 vs 50 head 70 trans is the same as 50, but the primary ratio is taller. Same effect as dropping 3 teeth on the rear sprocket. 70 has a higher volume oil pump and stronger clutch, beefier con rod, though.
