vegas/womens class Hey awesom job to all the girls!!! Every one kicked ass!!! Does any one else think that it absolutley rediculous that the top three girl didnt get anything besides medals for winning??? Pros and amature classes get a purse and girls didnt get ****....the past couple years they have been getting cash and then this year they said it was a mistake for giving them that. Tatum Sik, Jena Ellis and Jan P. can smoke most all the guys out there and spend just as much time trainning for this race and get no reward for it. BALOGNA!!!!!!

Re: vegas/womens class look for an article in DirtRider magazine about it. It won't be a nice review. That was very wrong for the 30 second guys to do what they did. Unsafe and just plain stupid. Making fun of the woman's class. A race is still a race Period. As for the lack of a purse, even more lame.

Re: vegas/womens class I wasn't happy about the 30 second board jack a$$' at all. And what the hell, no purse. My wife was hitting up some local tracks like crazy training and that crap isn't free. If she would of podiumed she could of won Pitster contingency money but thats so gay that the girls got only metals. I tell you the people running that deal are going to piss enough people off that soon no one will want to show up.

Re: vegas/womens class This 30 second looser was the same dumba§§ who was riding in shorts and a tie, wasnīt it?....how is something like that possible ...do some people really think thats funny?? ..on most tracks you get banned ,if you donīt show up with full gear, even for fooling around and here in LV its a total different thing?? Not a good image !! Last edited by themountain; 05-05-2008 at 07:24 PM.

Re: vegas/womens class Why the heck do the guys get so much Costella got 4 grand for winning the race...and then pitster payed him and i bet he gets money from all his other sponsors. Hes an amazing rider but he allready gets all his stuff for free...the mini moto industry needs to look at how much they are charging us if there not going to pay us for winning. Race prep-$60 (gas, tubes, gas for car, oil ect.) Entry to track- $10 (per person, even spectators) Entry fee for race-$35 (??!??!) Mini racing expirience - Not worth it We should protest

I don't think Pitster payed Costella he was not on a Pitster. i also agree with everyone, those yahoos had no business doing the 30 second board, these girls are dead serious and professional and should be treated with the same kind of respect as anyone, making fun with their race, and also screwing with it was plain wrong. | |

Re: vegas/womens class ^ and those numbers are low. On my video you can hear the announcer telling the guys to get out of the way as girls coming ripping up the start straight. Oh and HM you could of got podium cash too. I really think it is a discredit to the hard work of the ladies. IF more girls raced the world would be a better place for all... We'd all be riding more, we could hang at the shop and wouldn't get in trouble cause we would be wrenching on their bikes, we'd get new gear and tools for christmas (this includes cameras and computers to take video of them and pics while riding) and They wouldn't be at the mall!
