Re: on the finals night... JLaw is 21, so he drank a few at Minimoto, he still finished top 10 and won the west coast championship.... Its Vegas, can the guy not party? Besides, I'm sure the Palms was paying him (anyone else notice the Palms logo on his helmet/bike?) so why wouldn't he have fun while he was there?

Re: on the finals night... yeah he did but you never saw RC or RV do that when they won any of their championships. it's just unprofessional for someone to not take a race seriously

Re: on the finals night... what if vegas was the only race you could attend and you wanted to see the two newly crowned champs do battle(or just watch jlaw tear it up), and low and behold you spend all that money to watch him tank bc his ass was wasted the night before. i don't know about you but i would be disappointed. they don't get paid megabucks to get wasted...

Re: on the finals night... i understand where you're coming from but i wouldn't call what he did playing it safe. playing it safe is when you choose not to take certain risks while on the track, like to prepare for the outdoor season. I agree there is no reason to risk injury. however, playing it safe does not include getting a hangover and dropping out of a race...getting a hangover alone would not be safe at all

Re: on the finals night... I saw him in the pits before and after mini-moto, and if you guys are talking about playing it safe for outdoors then why wouldn't he play it safe and not get freaking wasted the night before a race? Playing it safe as a racer would be no alcohol, no partying, just riding. I can see the potential this kid has but it's ridiculous how he is literally throwing it away. Just so he can look like a hard-ass or be the bad-boy of motocross.
