search automotive paint supply in your area.

either that, or go to a local body shop, and ask where they buy their paint from.

i wouldn't fork out the money for dupont or ppg. go nason, a lot cheaper, and generic brand of dupont.

Motorcycle & Watercraft Touch Up & Refinish Paint - ColorRite

That is where you can get automotive, motorcycle or anything paint. It goes off of your vin number and it will be a perfect match to any OEM colors...

Lots of places to go on the Net... Personally, I wouldn't skimp on the paint.. Get yourself a good quality paint like PPG or House of Kolor.. What color are you looking for?

pffft, black man. go cheap, nason paint im telling you. unless your doing some flashy effects or super custom paint job, GO NASON! Good quality, and cheap. I have painted so many cars with that paint man, and they still look awesome to this day.

And that guy is probably using Debear's for the Mercedes.

Re: Where can I buy paint - PPG or Dupont?

I found out the name of the paint my painter uses. It's glasurit. I went to the paint store today and picked up the ppg. I couldn't find a nason dealer close to me. Should have my stuff by the weekend, woot woot!

$25 for the hardner and $27.95 for a 1/2 pint of paint + tax. Total was $57.32 and he's using his clear no charge.

GOOD clear is usually the most expensive part.

That they do. My painter took pics of all the layers as they came off. I'll see if he can email me that pic. It's nasty.
