Re: tubeless douglas? well the douglas are a billet rim, lots of guys have them. since theres no spokes the rim would not lose air in theory if a rubber valve stem was installed. guess theres only one way to find out.

Re: tubeless douglas? You will probably need alot of airpressure to seat the tire but it should work. I know someone running the skunkwerx billet wheels with a tubeless tire.

Re: tubeless douglas? I wouldnt use those valve stems! I would use the metal with the screw on nut... yea, the expensive ones. I would think it'd work... for the road. Dirt, I would be iffy about!

Re: tubeless douglas? SUCCESS.......kinda. hole in the rim too small for valve stem to completly pull through. tire held air and found no leaks however. 007.JPG unfortunantly my spray bomb job did not hold up. tore them down, gonna drop off for powder tomorrow. 008.JPG

Re: tubeless douglas? it did take about 50lbs to seat the beads with the valve core out, but then aired down to 25lbs with no probs. i think its gonna work, this beauty very rarely sees dirt. stunt/parking lot warrior mostly. ill post final results when i get the wheels back, hopefully tommorrow night, in the mean time going to try to find some fancy valve stems
