| Swinger Arm: Polish or Powder Coat? I did a small favor for a buddy of mine and now have a "credit" at a metal finishers... I'm thinking of either polishing or powder coating (black) the swing arm. ![]() OR... ![]() Black would be a nice change. But I don't know if I can stray from nice and shiney. What do you think would look the best?

| Re: Swinger Arm: Polish or Powder Coat? I like polished aluminum and those DC swingers will shine like a mirror if done correctly...But I would like to see what the black (satin) looked like. I wouldnt go gloss black. If you go black get the red off the brackets...JMHO. I will vote once someone photoshops it.

| Re: Swinger Arm: Polish or Powder Coat? Another small detail... I can get the powder coating of the swinger (and other parts) for FREE. The polish job would be my deal. Hey Jim... Just in case... Any ideas as to where I could send this for a good polish job?

| Re: Swinger Arm: Polish or Powder Coat? Frame: Must stay black due to the way the Minnesota DMV attached the VIN sticker. This can not be removed or altered. Wheels: Are not in question. If i keep the spoked wheels, the stickers may stay. However, I've got a "winter project" planned that may just eliminate spoked wheels all together!! Can you say "makin' chips"? Bodywork: It may stay white. OR... It may change to black with custom graphics. Unknown as of this writing. Assume the bodywork stays white.
