raked or not? need help

im trading my 110 towards this stocker 50. i had a couple people tell me it looks a bit raked in the front. what do you think? i plan on adding a little bit longer swinger and 70 forks or sp5's. will that put even more stress on it? thanks

Re: raked or not? need help

if its a stock frame itll be toast in a short order with sp-5's. unless you plan to cruise it the stock frame isnt good for much else. id say from that pic though the frame looks straight

With the longer swinger, and sp5's it will get raked out even more. I know from experience.

Raked just a little. Look at a bike that is almost new if not new. Look at the gap from the back of the front fender to the head of the motor. There should only be a little clearence from the fender to the head of the motor. Yours is a little streched but hey " at least you had fun doing it man!!! "

From going by what you said... They must test the bikes by skying them straight from the factory.

It's my brother's 50. It sits in my garage and gets worked on by me; so who's going to put it towards a 110?

Re: raked or not? need help

looking at it more closely it does look a little out of whack. compared to this pic you can see the difference, im sure it would be fine for street cruising but id reccomend an aftermarket frame if you plan to jump or suspension upgrades

Mixed emotions about the black 12/10's.

Here it is. Swapping it out for the 110 tomorrow.

Re: raked or not? need help

it looks raked because there looks like there is heavy duty fork springs in them witch extends the wheel out farther away from the head
