hey yall, I was just wonderin if you know of any good places to ride minis somewhat close to SE MI. I went to big bike practice at baja yesterday and they let us ride minis on the young guys track. They dont usually do this, so I was wonderin where all you michiganders practice. If this thread belongs somewhere else please move it, I didnt know where to put it because its not an event. thanks

The Mounds was fun, but I haven't been there in a couple years. Not far from Baja Acres.

we have a couple private spots in s.e mi. i'm building a new bike right now so i wont be riding for two weeks. shoot me a pm and maybe we'll set something up. if i get my bike done i might race baja?

the brawl is commin up, i was thinkin of racin that too, for fun. when I was out there sunday they split up the mini track for beginners, and mini xtreme, so I was practice racing with other people. the jumps arent anything special, the best one is the finish line jump and its not too far of a leap. my bike is nothin special, just a stock ogm 140sx. expecting a vm26 in the mail tomorrow Ill see if that adds pizazz.

mounds sound limit= 93 db. last time I was there my 450 was broke so i was gonna use my dads drz 400. they sound tested it and it was 101db, glad I didnt have the 450. I might sound test the mini just to see what it checks out at. good suggestion

your mini will never pass sound-test at the mounds. and it wouldn't be much fun there either. all sand whoops and redneckquadtards.
