kx250f problem, please help!!! so my bike runs good for about 2 or 3 laps then just suddenly bogs and dies, or will just die without bogging. Once this happens it will die like every 3 minutes. i will be either on the gas or just letting off into a corner or something and it will just bog/die. It will start up again right after a few kicks and idle good, rev good, and all. It is really annoying and unsafe because i dont want it to die right before a lip and cause me to endo etc...so i need to fix this asap. Any ideas what is wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

Re: kx250f problem, please help!!! It could be something stupid like the gas swtich is off, or the choke is on...If not, clogged jets and or the electircals (specifically coils) can be the issue...Defenately sounds the same as wut happened to my stupid ass, Running with the gas closed and dying on every corner and bogging sick...ahahaha its probably not though Last edited by SUZUKIRM12594; 08-30-2008 at 07:18 PM.

Re: kx250f problem, please help!!! if not electrical sounds like dirt in the carb, the particle gets sucked up clogging the jet and restricting gas flow, once it dies the suction stops and you can get gas again only until that piece gets sucked up again.

Hmm, very good idea. Try cleaning your float bowl, jets, etc. See if you find anything. | |

Re: kx250f problem, please help!!! check your ground...sounds like a loose ground to me or like ZBBT said, foreign object in the carb...possibly your pet-cock is broken and restricting fuel flow to a trickle
