I need ideas for my track I attached a copy of my current design for a mini track I am having built in my backyard... I want ideas on how to improve the design before I submit a final copy... The start of the track is at the top right and riders go in a counter-clockwise direction... The runway at the bottom is not used while taking laps or racing... it is there to get speed for clearing the biggest jump in reverse (should be about 25-30ft)... Thanks for any help Last edited by jtblueberry; 08-21-2008 at 04:59 PM.

Re: I need ideas for my track sweet layout tools.. whatever it is your using. I think the layout looks sweet, but I don't think you have enough room to really throw all that in there. Mabey you do. I just think it looks a little small. I'd rake the shape of your lanes in... and start riding it, flat. And then picture what you wanna put in as you ride. That way you can get a really nice flow to the track. I think if you do that you'll end up with a track that you'll never wanna come off of. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure my track out on paper before I built it. I look back on the designs and laugh. Half as many jumps etc and it still keeps you hella busy while riding it.

Re: I need ideas for my track ya i agree with oilspot. when designing my track on paper, i planned on putting in so many more jumps, but when i started riding the track (before i built the jumps), i realized it would have been way to tight. its really helps to ride the track before you build the jumps

Re: I need ideas for my track you may be right... definitely pushing the limits of my space... I've been riding the lines and planned my design based on some other backyard tracks posted here... time will tell... Last edited by jtblueberry; 08-22-2008 at 12:46 AM.
