built it this afternoon.. not yet but not to far from being finished!

ive hit way scarier lookin ramps. as long as your goin from that to dirt it will do just fine. just dont try building a landing ramp.

y is it tht nobody uses plywood on the sides for the transition and rib everything. thts how i built a ramp and it is solid.

Cuz they see that the METAL ramps in FMX dont use it so they think its cool and just leave it exposed...When I built my ramp, I covered up them sides with 2 walls of plywood.

As someone with a structural background, I would probably make it a little wider, or at least put some stabalizers on it. If you hit that one side or another from the center, you may be in for one hell of a ride, and the landing probably wont be great.

Make sure you get the first trip off that on film, as you may not want to hit it again after that.

yeah just drive some t-posts into the groung beside it then wrap bailin wire around the boards
