Alpinestar Tech 2 All this talk about weather or not to wear boots or shoes I'm thinking about ordering some alpinestar tech 2's. Does anybody know how they size. I wear an 11.5 Nike how will the boots fit large or small. Nothing worse than ordering something not being able to try them on and gettin all pumped up about getting new gear and then it not fittin!

Re: Alpinestar Tech 2 I have the Tech 3's which are just the same as the Tech 2's only full size. I wear a 9.5 NB running shoe and my Tech 3's are 9's and fit perfect. Hope this helps. You might want to check them out, their just as comfy as the shorty's but offer more protection. Which I'm glad I had this past weekend when I went down.

Re: Alpinestar Tech 2 I'm a big guy and if the boot is very flexible I could see riding in a full sized boot. The only reason I'm looking at the shortys is for the flexiblity.

Re: Alpinestar Tech 2 Go to a dealer and try them on. You'll find their is not much of a difference. Not enough to go with the lack of protection the shorty gives.

Re: Alpinestar Tech 2 I have a pair and I love them. It definately makes a huge difference in flexibility and they obviously offer MUCH more protection than regular skate shoes. The only down side is that I don't really like the way they look, big boots look way cooler. I wear a 10.5 in DC's and I have a 11 in the Tech 2 and they fit perfect.

Re: Alpinestar Tech 2 Man you guys got me guessing on the size. I don't have a local dealer that carries them. Sucks to order them and then they don't fit. ![]()

Re: Alpinestar Tech 2 Order both sizes and which ever one fits keep. You can send the other ones back and I believe Motosport was the cheapest.

Re: Alpinestar Tech 2 I wear a 10 1/2 in skate and and basketball shoes. I ordered an 11 online. When they came in they fit not bad but felt a little sloppy so I sent them back and bought the 10. They fit much better and after they broke in they are awesome. I would definately buy the smaller size of the two you are considering.
