well drop me an offer and ill decide whether or not to sell it, I am kind of saving up for a snowmobile, and selling the engine would speed things up. The engine is running perfect with no problems, tons of torque and top speed. I designed the engine for more of a broad power band. Its got a 55mm h/c piston (8.5mm dome) which has been moly/ceramic coated. I also purchased a 28/24 ported (without any valve guide removed) head from akunar directly which is basically the SGR head with a AHP camshaft, heavy duty valve springs, and a brass spark plug hole (stripped the aluminum and got a stronger heli coil put in for 50 bucks) The original iron cylinder was decked 1mm from a local machine shop to better suite the piston and this has added more overall top speed, and the added compression helps the low end. The gaskets have all been replaced and you can still see the cross hatch pattern in the cylinders, all internal parts are looking perfect and boy does she go. I can assure you that everything was done correctly, and I can also assure you a proper piston to valve clearance. The engine was a success mod, ill miss it. Just PM me, thankss |
