I don't think I'd risk it, use gunbroker.com it's legal.

It's not illegal to sell online. I just have to ship to an FFL holder.

I have a Savage model 10 308 Tactical in a Choate Ultimate Varmint stock, and 50mm 6-18x Bushnell Banner scope. Asking $550 + shipping for it. I can post pics if needed.

I guess it's ok since no Mods have chimed in.

I've sold a few guns the ChicagoLand Sportbikes website. They have a dedicated forum for weapons and firearms. Might want to check them out: Weapons & Hunters Corner

They have transfer slips in a sticky too. Not sure how the out of state transfer would work, but there are a few cops on that site that would probably answer a post if asked about it. Good group of guys over there.
