FS: Studded tires for 12/10 combo I have a set of 12”/10” tires that have been studded for ice and snow riding. The front tire is a brand new Pirelli MT32A knobby studded with 1 stud per lug and is a 60/100/12. The rear tire is a brand new IRC 3.5x10 mixed terrain style with 3 studs per lug down the middle, and 4 studs per lug on the outside and has a protective liner for the tube already installed. Since the rear tire is so wide, it is fairly easy to mount and keep from pinching the tube. The front tire has long enough lugs that the studs don’t protrude through, and it doesn’t need a liner. . I only had the chance to ride my Thumpstar 120 twice last winter on a local lake and the Rock River and they have a total of about 20miles of Ice-only use on them. I put my bike into the back of a pickup and unloaded it onto the ice directly both times; these have not seen blacktop, cement, etc and the studs are still very sharp. Whoever buys these is going to have a blast this winter. The studded tires really do work well and on bare ice they bite hard. When you get into a few inches of snow, the studs work quickly to dig to a firm layer and the roost is impressive to say the least. I had no problems hangin with my friends Blaster through the long-sweepers on the river and had some of the most fun I’ve ever had on a pitbike before. Let me know if you guys have any questions. Tires are located in Watertown, WI. I am asking $60 shipped in the lower 48 for the pair and I will not to split them up. I take payments via paypal to: pma1123@hotmail.com

| Re: FS: Studded tires for 12/10 combo For those of you in the northern states that have never tried ice riding.... MAN!!! You missing a good time!!! And at the price of these tires... It's a STEAL!!! The studs alone are worth more then the asking price!! AND you don't have to go through the ultra boring task of installing all the studs!! Good luck with the sale!! If I had another mini for the ice... I'd be all over these!!!

Re: FS: Studded tires for 12/10 combo Thanks for the bump Moosehunter! Good to see that there are others out there that have indulged in the excitement of ice riding. Like he already stated, I have well over $60 into just the tires alone and getting the set for $60 shipped is a smokin' deal. But I have a nice snowmobile for this year, and I don't foresee getting any use from the tires on my bike. I bought that rear tire specifically because it had a good tread layout for getting the most scratch lines I could fit. The front tire has nice tall knobbies and keeps its track very well on ice and snow. It seems like the further you lean, the harder those studs work. I guarantee whoever buys them will have a hard time wiping the smile off their face after taking a few good runs on them. I wish I had some pics of me going all-out with that blaster just to help somebody make their decision. Big stupid fun.

Re: FS: Studded tires for 12/10 combo Do you still have these for sale? Have you had any problems with studs coming out? I haven't found a way to keep the rear from losing studs (kold kutters) quickly while riding hard on the ice....

Re: FS: Studded tires for 12/10 combo Yes, they are still available, feel free to PM me if you want them and we can arrange the details. I haven't seen any issues with the studs pulling out of the tread blocks on the back tire. I loaded the back tire with as many studs as possible to reduce the pressure that each stud will see and overall the tires did a good job of hooking up. Like I mentioned in the original post, I've only had a couple good rides on the tires but I never noticed any of the studs pulling out or loosening.

Re: FS: Studded tires for 12/10 combo What length studs did you use? I used short studs that didn't require a liner....maybe that is why they ripped out so quickly. I also know that we never spit studs with stock motors or light big bor kits. As soon as we went to faster motors, the tires are spinning much quicker when riding ovals hard. Thanks.
