| YSR50 Carburetor help. Hey Guys, Just trying to get this YSR running. I have taken the carb apart 4 times in an attempt to clean it out. I have a few questions that you may be able to help me with. 1) Pilot Jet. The orifice in which the Pilot Jet is screwed into, is this a fuel passage? In absence of an air compressor, should I spray carb cleaner in this? If so, will it exit (providing there is no clog) at another location? If so, where? 2) Air Screw. What is the factory setting for this screw? 3) Idle Screw. What is the factory setting for this screw? 4) The main jet and pilot jet have no blockage whatsoever. What other journals should I be concerned with as far as blockage is concerned? I do not have an air compressor. Do you have any tips or tricks that could help? This YSR fires right up with stater fluid but then dies right out. I am baffled as to what is causing this. Thanks again for all of your advice!! -Charles |
