You guys just be ready to upgrade to stainless brake lines in the front if you have not already. You just want to pull so hard and brake so late, just talking about it gets me excited! Thanks again Ray I love them and definitly one of the best upgrades I have done to my bike.

Re: RJP Racing NSR50 Modded Fork Review

I recently had Ray mod the forks and shock on my NSF150RR (NSF100 w/CRF150r motor). I had the shock revalved with a heavier spring and the forks revalved, cartridge emulators, polished with stiffer springs. What a difference. I raced the bike recently with this set up and it worked great. This is one mod that I can say made a big difference in my lap times.

Re: RJP Racing NSR50 Modded Fork Review

Do you do shocks too? Ever worked with a set of pre marzocchi Metrakit forks- (<2005)? Where do the springs come from... Custom?

My MK's are pretty decent motorwise, but the suspension has always kinda sucked. I was planning on either selling both of them when and if the GRC bikes become available, or 1 of them even. Or, if I keep one MK, I'd like to do something with the suspension on it. GMD Computrack in FLA has the specs to have a Penske shock made, and he says that he can do something with the front too. I met the guy before that was racing the bike with the GMD setup, and he said that it was night and day to the suspension that it came with.

I guess I would have to see if GRC even brings in any bikes, how much they'll cost, and if it makes more sense to put $800+ into each of the MK's if the GRC suspension is any good stock. I don't seem to crash, and the MK's have been pretty reliable-- I probably only need one bike. I guess i'll have to wait and see what happens with the GRC's. I have been more focused on racing pitbike events than road racing lately becuase there are so many more events throughout the year, and they're way closer to home. That's a big deal with $4+ gas. --L*64

I'd shoot Ray a PM. I know he's been swamped as of late.

I can't wait to try out my RJP forks as soon as I piece the bike back together.

Re: RJP Racing NSR50 Modded Fork Review

Ray can get custom springs cut for your forks, as he had to for my NSR50 units, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Ray recently did my zb50 forks.Major improvement hitting speed bumps, curb hopping, etc .It gave my bike a more solid feel straight line and boosted my confidence and safety while cornering at speed.well worth the $

Re: RJP Racing NSR50 Modded Fork Review

Ray do you do any YSR fork work? My front end is pretty solid (clip-ons, fork brace, tripple clamp and spring mod.) My front end feels WAY better than a NSR front end with pre-loads, Just looking to see if there is anything better.
