| Re: NSF100 motor complete I would love to hear how the 150 install goes. My son races a NSR50 and loves it, we also have a TZ with a cr85 motor and he isn't neally as comfortable on it as the NSR. Can the NSR chassis handle all that torque for racing? |

| Re: NSF100 motor complete well , i think IT will be too much torque in the corner not a good thing to learn ! have you try a 63cc? it's a nice improvement and that will let you son some time to grow and get more comfortable on the tz in the future ps:i never ride a nsr150 but i just give you my opinion |

| Re: NSF100 motor complete The main difference is the gearing is more suited to road racing and it's GP shift stock. I believe there are some differences in the engine as well, but I could'nt tell you exactly what. It's a good deal for me, because it will allow me to build a 125-130cc to run some different classes and still keep my stock 100 for formula 7. |

| Re: NSF100 motor complete Quote:
For us restomodders, this makes the perfect base for a project and will accept all the JDM 12V lighting coils and harnesses, and has a unique gearbox suitable for road use. Something the older XR100 lumps do not have. It's like saying the older 4 speed CT70 and SL70 stock engines compare to a 1-2 year old AB26 JDM Honda Monkey 4 speed 12V engine. No comparision and the JDM engines don't have weak 4 speed gearboxes with the crappy kickstart shafts. It was a steal at $600. | |

| Re: NSF100 motor complete Z's calling you a liar I don't have one in front of me, but the MrCycles fiche for a 2006 NSF shows the gear ratios to be the same as an XR100, not even the closer 80 1/2/5 gearing? Smokincrackagawa trans will fit in any old set of cases. I guess there might be a few who give a rats rump what's stamped on the side. It's still an unknown condition race motor... |
