| newbie question 12v or 6v? im toying with the idea of making my nsr50r street legal (gas prices are killing me). is it a 12v system or 6v like the ysr's? |

| Re: newbie question 12v or 6v? A simple way to check is to look at how many cells the battery has. If it has 3 cells its most likely 6 volts, if it has 6 its 12 volts... There always is the handy voltage tester too...  |
