No f-ing way!
I just got a sr250 doner bike for my ysr.
I'm hopping to put the motor in sometime in the next month.
Have any pics of how you mounted the motor?
Thanks.

That pitbike fork looks great on your YSR. Nice looking project.

Re: My YSR250 UK Build

It will be an interesting build if I ever get around it...I have to finish rebuilding the motor on my girlfriends 1970 cb350, finish paint on my ct70, and work on a few other bikes....but soon it will happen!! I've got some time off next month.

Can you post a few more close up pics of how you mounted the engine? Did you make your own sub-frame or mod the stock YSR one? Thanks.

Kosonorthamerica.com They are about $350. Will work on just about anything. Install is almost the same as the trail tech, just more $.

Re: My YSR250 UK Build

Damn nice project- talk about shoehorning an engine in!!!! I thought putting a 05 bandit 1200 into a 90 750 chassis looked tight........ Is it scary fast?? by the way.... welcome to the forum!!!

Re: My YSR250 UK Build

Well this is my well overdue update

I have the wheels back from the painters (gloss black)
Most of the parts have been fitting to the bike, so i've stripped it down to start 'a' fresh
I also made my garage into a make shift painting booth for the day, with these results

Dave
