Honda MB5 gas tank question...desperate

So, my very nice, 975 mile original red, MB5 has issues with the gas tank. When I got it, it had a half-a$$ed Kreem job done to the tank and some clear Seal-all on the outside on the bottom.

Well, no prizes for guessing that it still leaks through probably a dozen plus pin holes. The tank is undented and solid otherwise.

ANY ideas on what, if anything can be done to fix it?

Or, does anyone know where a nice tank suitable to put on it might be? Evilbay has had a few parts bikes in the last few months but the tanks are always junk too!!

Acetone, MEK, hot tank at the auto machine shop, maybe even the cleaner in the POR kit.

kreem tank sealer removal - The Jockey Journal Board

What sorta shape, and price? I still need to off an XR75 and JT1 before I have "big" cash for an SL

I had the same problem with a YSR tank. Took it to NorCal Metal stripping to have it dipped. Sometimes they have to cut out the bottom to get all of the kreem stuff but they are pros.
