| Fork oil volume - NSR 50 After recent crash, I rebuild the forks with new seals and new tubes on the NSR50 ('04). I don't have the repair manual, so can anyone tell me how much fork oil I need to put in to be at the right level? I measured the level before I took the forks apart, but I want to ensure that I am putting right amount of fluid in there. |

| Re: Fork oil volume - NSR 50 Go by the level you measured, not volume. 4 to 6 inches from the top, springs out, forks compressed is a safe range to work with. Closer to the top to stiffen them up, further away to soften.

| Re: Fork oil volume - NSR 50 Oskar, The book recommends (10W) oil that is 107mm or 4.2 inches from the top of the tube to the oil with the spring removed and forks compressed all the way. It says to pump the forks mulitple times to stabilize the fluid level. |
