Cool First ride to work on my RCV Mini

Ok its unpainted and there is still a bit of work to do.... esp moving down the handlebars so they don't keep scraping against the upper part of the windscreen....

I also need to mount turn signals in the front and a better headlamp...
rear subframe still needs to be bent into shape

but its good enough to ride to work and back...

yes it is snow... I live in Victoria BC and its supposed to be really nice here now.. infact it is one of the few places in Canada that gets almost NO snow (usually 1 week per year at MOST) the weather has been crazy this year.

It was hail at first, THEN snow....

what?!?! I rode to work and back all winter (not much snow but lots of rain) just wore my snowboarding jacket over my riding jacket and had waterproof covers over my pants.

Its not that bad... I'm only 12kms from work and its a nice twisty ride all the way in.

Hey man what bodywork did you end up going with?

Oh yeah as for the headlamp its actually just the top off a flashlight I had. I'm putting in a real headlamp soon. I just stuck it in there so I could ride it on the street in the daytime.

how much did the xb12r high beam cost you? I think I'm going to use my old RAPTOR 660 ATV headlight that was off my R1 YSR bodykit.

I will have to cut the clear plastic cover off to make it fit but I can get a 12volt high and low beam bulb for it.
