Almost done my RCV-mini body mod

Did some work the last couple of days and the bike is almost ready for paint and decals....

looking good so far, big thing was to take off the fugly mudflap/licence plate mount and move the break light and did intergrated turn signals

Tried to use a mudflap from another bike but it looked like butt

here are some pics

It came plated out of a local bike shop in town, they still have one in the showroom for sale but want 5'700 for it.

They added a break light, turn signals and it was good to go, the even went and got it inspected, registered for street use before they sold it to the first owner.

I bought it used with 2000kms for 2700

Been riding it almost every day this summer

Sweet! Those are the exact same tail lights I am using. Looks good on your bike.

What rear fender is that?

yeah the tail light fits perfect. I was going to do LEDs from an F4i for the turn signals but they blew out the other bulbs. I think if I had all four signal lights in LED then it would have worked. I might need to do that in future as I will be adding a rear view camera

ans for the rear fender? if you mean the fiberglass its the NSF tailsection.

I installed a mudguard but it looked hella ugly so did a clean tail

Oh I went to the local scrap yard and the guy there pulled it off a wreaked Zx6 and cut it down with his air tools.

Didn't look that good so I pulled it, Still have it in the house. Yes I could have mounted it higher it was just a matter of where to cut slots. but any higher and the plate wouldn't show but would be in the tail.

Last thing I need to do right now is the headlights and break light.

I used a semi-translucent flexable cuttingboard and my plan is to put red LEDs inside the tail so when I use the breaks the whole undertail lights up red.... really obvious that I'm stopping.

As for the headlight I'm still working with some ideas and will post pics soon.

Yes as of right now its my top contender unless I find a real sponsor. Then i could work around the design of that company logo.

Otherwise since mike is my name and I drank a hella lot of it in university... it goes
