AMRA strikes the deal of the Century

In 2006 the AMRA signed a 25 year lease on a old Kart track in Warburg Alberta, 40 minutes south of Edmonton in 2006, The track was in bad shape and sat empty until we could come up with some funding to update it. We struck a deal early spring 2008 with the Edmonton Kart Racing Association (EDKRA) allowing full track access for some patching and general maintenance of the track, Last Thursday their Sanctioning body ASN stepped in the ninth hour and demanded full repaveing of the 800 meter track and all new fencing in order to run race events.

Racing will start in early June after the track has time to cure,

The Kart club will manage the track until the fall of 2010 and then hand the facility back to the AMRA.

The AMRA will be running events throughout this season, Stay tuned for dates
