I dont want you to supply the bike.. I want to rock my own..

Are you incharge of the supermoto races during the motor cycle show?

Re: 2008 Canadian Indoor National Championship Series

The Whole concept is we supply 12 matching bikes, Every racer is given a number the bikes are numbered and the grid has is numbered.
Given this you will ride a different bike and be gridded different every race, Therefore all that is left is your talent to take you to the win which will qualify you for the main.
If you are sponsored by one of the big four, For instance Kawi you will always race one of three Kawasaki KLX125's throughout the series but the number plates will be changed randomly every nite, just to keep it even.
I run the Canadian National Mini Roadracing Series with 16 different classes and in that series you can run your own bike but not my Indoor series,
We will make you feel like a factory racer for a weekend.

We have the top racers in Canada in this series from Canadian Superbike to Motocross to Motard, You name them they race here.

Sign up soon though Calgary is already down to a waiting list, Edmonton still has some room.

Did I add this is a true National sanctioned event through CMA.
The 2008 title will be earned.

Re: 2008 Canadian Indoor National Championship Series

We are the entertainment for both Edmonton and Calgary shows (Fourth year now) Over 26000 people are exposed to our sport in each city and the budget is nearing 70,000 to put on these two events, The two halls big enough to host such an event cost almost 18000 each. This is as big as it gets for our sport in Canada. Big sponsorship is given out from all the vendors and the manufacturers are out to see who are the next Superbike stars.
We do have a bunch of Mini Racers from Kamloops that have raced with us for years and will be out to compete.

Re: 2008 Canadian Indoor National Championship Series

isnt the point of all these types of races to get as much exposure for the sport as possible. Yes you will have top riders from around canada racing these supplied bike (by the way what are they). But what do you think would get more attention. Adults riding what bikes you supplied or adults riding kids bikes with thousands into them.

Its just something for you to keep in mid. Even if you have a spar slot to stick us in. like a filler or something. We do it for the love of riding minis...

Re: 2008 Canadian Indoor National Championship Series

Why not give us a class and see how many people will watch us? This has nothing to do with our pocket books as you say.... we do have fast bikes as well as fast riders.

Your are infact a MINI ROADRACING ASSOCIATION correct? So shouldnt you use mini bikes?

Re: 2008 Canadian Indoor National Championship Series

honestly it totaly sliped my mind that you guys would only have a certain amount of time to run the heats. Figured you would be able to run through the whole day and not just for a couple hours.

I myself have never been invited to a event. I was hoping to go to the event at stratotech but didnt have a motor at the time and pushing the bike wouldnt be to much fun.

As for coming out and racing, I would if I could get some time on the bike before hand. I'm not the type to hope on a bike and go race if i've never ridin it before. But I will how ever swing by and watch...to me racing is racing and I stop by every year just to see what bikes are out riding and what not. Hell maybe i'll come say hi and so I can raze you in person. lol

I'll tell you what next time you guys throw a event in edmonton or near it hit me up with a pm or email me at hull_b@hotmail.com . I would love to come out and help with the event.

oh and I was just pulling your leg about the "mini roadracing" thing...just cause the bikes your supplying are 125's correct not minis. lol

As for Edmonton events, Round #1 Of the Canadian National Series will kick off At Stratotech Park Edmonton a Two day event, Camping at Canada's Top Mini Roadracing track, This is the best track we race at all year, Don't miss it, Plus we will host weekly T&T's at Warburg through out the year.

Jay
I will talk to my boss and see if I can get the days off (fri/thursday) chances are slim since its a new job (start on the 2nd) lol but i'll try.
