That's right kids! It's time for Round 4 of the Sho Me State Pitbike Series. It's coming up July 20 at Playground MX in Carthage, Missouri. It's been a few weeks since Round 3 at Merwin, so get the old pitbike tuned up and ready, bring your friends, and come have some fun racing!

Saturday practice is open from 10 to 2 on July 19.

Sunday registration starts at 8:30 am. Practice starts at 9:30 am. Racing after practice ends, probably 10:30-11:00.

Carthage is in southwest Missouri. Close for you Arkansas and Oklahoma (and even Texas) folks. The track is very close to town, so amenities like retaurants, gas stations, and motels are as close as half a mile away.

Check the track website at Playground Motocross - Carthage MX - Playground MX for directions and details about the track.

NOTE: this track requires a notarized release for minors. I don't know whether they will have a notary on hand during registration. They do have the release form for download on their site as a pdf file. I would suggest printing it, and signing it with a local notary so you can bring it with you to speed your registration process.

I did get clarification from the track that you don't need a notarized form for kids if the parents are there to sign up.

Weather should be decent. Chance for isolated storms on Saturday, partly cloudy on Sunday. Cool overnight, upper 80's to 90 for the high.

No reason not to go!

sorry....after some consideration...

we have come to the conclusion that we will not be making it to this round

bummer....

But just wanted to say Good Luck to Everyone who races this weekend...

Corys clutch is messed up but should hopefully fix it saturday and come race sunday.. I should have my bike by tomorrow too!!

kevin from a1 photoworks called earlier...

he is going to miss this round...

his work called him out and he is in florida.....lucky guy..hehe

Needless to say... he will not be back in time...

Just got to the motel from practice. Track is good. Fun but challenging. They've cut the track to make it a bit shorter than the full big bike track.

Time to goto the pool.

Track was alot of fun. I thought they had a pretty good turn out, but I didnt hear an exact num. Missed a few of the "regulars" tho.
