Re: Beaverun 2008 I know there are many many dirt pitbike racers. You might want to purchase an extra set of wheels for pavement ripping. But then if you want to really "minimotard" race Beaverun might support the "true motardtrack" with a series. Not just 100% pavement but the real deal. Who knows whats going to happen but a series where you can race pavement or "Motard"........... So maybe HackAcrunch and his merry boyz will come out and play in 2008?

Re: Beaverun 2008 I would also be interested in this, but will you need full leathers for these events? I cant justify spending all that money on leathers.

Re: Beaverun 2008 Safety gear is something to ask over at the thread. I know some supermotard racers that run with modified MX safety gear. My kids don't wear full leathers..... are they exposed to extra danger? Yes........ But how can racing be safe? ![]() Some Mini clubs enforce full leathers etc.... OYL does not. Check out the thread and start probbing. So anyhow I would guess that if you have full MX gear to include back proctection, knee protection, elbow protection, full boots, guantlet road race gloves etc... you'd be good. Thats just about the minimum amount of gear to wear under a quality pair of pants and jacket. You can get some decent sport tour gear..... for fairly small dollars if you shop the sales that are going n right now. Since thumpstar has bikes in spec classes now in Semra and OSB maybe they would help with the same at Beaverun? Last edited by teddy; 12-05-2007 at 06:16 PM.

Re: Beaverun 2008 So there is Thumpstar providing spec bikes for a special spec class in two mini road race clubs now. Would any distributor be willing to get involved with Beaverun to support a spec class there? www.SEMRA.org :: View Forum - SPEC Bike Forum www.SEMRA.org :: View Forum - SPEC Bike Forum these are two places where you can read whats going on...... Beaverun might run it road race or "supermoto" Any vendors here want to establish a better bisness oppertunity?
