XR/CRF80-100 120cc partial engine

Decent used 80 cases and their closer ratio than (even the NSF) 100 trans. Oil hole moved to 100 location. Swapped in rebuilt 100 crank that has been lightened by over a pound, to 6oz lighter even than an 80 crank. Opened up for a Wiseco 120cc BBK (available as well) or any other bolt on kit for the 100. Includes the longer 100 studs and cam chain, and 30 tooth cam sprocket to make it all work. Use your standard parts to complete. Was a great runner, and revved smooth and fast, but my nephew outgrew the bike after one summer and I put the stock motor back in his bike to sell it. Shown dirty, but I'll give it a super clean-up. Carbon comes off the forged piston with mild thumb rub, will be walnut blasted along with the freshly honed jug, before shipping.
$200 plus shipping for the lower end, $100 for the jug and piston, $275 for both.

Very well, thanks
Between the closer gearing and the light crank, lots faster revving than the typical 115-120 motors. Not as strong as a Tak/Kitaco headed one, but those would work too, and be super zingy.

Cases will be split and everything cleaned. The little savage actually rode the bike in the dirt. Eeeew

Just what's not in the pics

I can round up the stuff for the clutch, a shift shaft, and clutch cover from the core shelf, but don't have a decent head or ignition to put on it.

I can fab up an inner rotor, or possibly a Lifan 150 outer rotor setup to button up the bottom end. Haven't tried the Lifan setup, yet, but think the stator can be wound for lights, and still have the low mass rotor.

Yep, the jug is a 100 one with the Wiseco sleeve and piston. Bolts right on a 100.

No spare rings. Total Seal has gapless ones for this specific piston. I hear

Re: XR/CRF80-100 120cc partial engine

I can't do that.

$125 piston, $60 sleeve, $90 install/bore. I'm taking a whipping at $100, and just dropped it that far hoping to sell the package wit the bottom end. $10 gets it out Priority, the day payment arrives.

Re: XR/CRF80-100 120cc partial engine

Got bored watching the wife's rubble sale today and took it apart for a checkup. Looks fine. I'll put it back together, if the buyer wants it that way

Note crosshatch on jug, 13mm smaller OD on 100 crank, except counterweights.
