YSR 50 stuntable? So my friend has a YSR50, street legal mini sport bike, like those new cheapo pocket bikes, but much nicer. Anyway the guy bought it new a long time ago. It doenst run, been sitting in his garage forever, thinks its a dirty carb. So he says I can have it, Im gonna get it. Just wondering if anyone stunts these out at all, I live a mile from work so it will be cool to ride in nice weather, he says it topped off at about 50mph.

you're better off picking up one of those mini-streetbikes with the 4 stroke motors in it.

They're fun to ride around but they are deffinently not ideal for stunting. They don't make any power so you have to rev it to the moon in first and pop the clutch to get it to bp.

May prove hard to stunt with clip-ons and rearsets on such a small bike. It was designed to road-race

no harder to stunt than a 50 with stock bars. i think itll be pretty easy to stunt. i want something a little more challenging that my crf. ive got most tricks locked on this so i figure full fairings with clip ons will be something new and fun to play with

Please don't stunt that bike... Get it running, register it and enjoy it. It's a 2 stroke 50cc with ZERO power and will not be easy to stunt.. I had a couple YSR's and it took a lot of RPM's and a lot of clutch to wheelie that thing.. I have seen it done, but do not recommend it unless you have Amazing stunt ability. Stoppies are a little easier, but you will go over and damage that bike.. Clean it up and sell it.. But don't stunt it, too rare and cool to stunt IMO.. I race/ride NSR50's now (the Honda Version). Here's a video of one being stunted... When you try to stunt one you will understand this guys skill http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=58774 8580 Last edited by Indetrucks; 01-24-2007 at 12:26 PM.
