| xr100r stunt? Anyone stunt on one of these? I have been on a 70 for a year and a half, and its so beat down that it's just not worth fixing anymore. Bent frame, swingarm, motor is smoking like a 2 stroke that was mixed too rich..... It's bad. So, will the 100 hold up well? Is it feasable to use for figure 8's and circle combos? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Re: xr100r stunt? I used to stunt my xr100. One problem is when you get up real high on a wheelie, it seems to loose power and sputters. Something in the carb, float maybe, doesnt like to be very high. I never tried to figure it out. Also first gear is very low and good for real slow wheelies if you have the brake control down as i didnt. |

| Re: xr100r stunt? Those sweet long weelies will let the oil pump suck air and seize the cam in the head. Enjoy it while it lasts. |

turn the petcock 1/4 way towards the off position. the bowl is flooding. this topics been on stuntlife a few times. i had the same problem and this workd for me. NAGS recommended it and it works. might take a lil fine tuning, you might go too lean or too rich, but you'll get the sweet spot eventually. hundies are a fuggin blast to stunt, and if you're goin froma 70 you'll be tits on it in no time. as far as the oiling problem, i've run on one wheel for a long a55 time and never had a problem nor have heard of it with guys stuntin em.

| Re: xr100r stunt? crf/xr 100's make great stunt bikes my friend has one, just for stunting. He doen't have nothing done to it, just street tires.. Only thing that sucks is the drum brake in front, garbage for stoppies Other then that, stunts pretty much just like my 150f.. |

I personally ride my crf150f bone stock, everything from 1 hand high chairs, 5th gear clutch up's, burnouts, foot down no front brake burnout circles.. More power doesn't make stunting easier, actually makes it WAY harder! bikes like the 100 and 150, are VERY easy to ride, since they have such smooth torque curve I don't have a video though on the 100, as its not mine, and I never really cared to take video.. Here is my first video though on my 150f, BONE stock, stock tires, stock bars, stock everything, 7 days after buying it and stepping up from a 50f to the 150f From almost 3 years ago edit ---- BTW this is Towlieee on turboglenns computer!!!!!! re-edit: here are a couple OLD pics I have of me on my friends 100.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by turboglenn; 09-30-2008 at 02:37 PM.

| Re: xr100r stunt? I'm not sure, I get mine from the used tire pile at my local dealer.. If your dealer doesn't have any, I have extra fronts with TONs of tread I'll send you for $5 + shipping... And I think I have a rear, but I'm out of town right now so I'll have to check this weekend when I'm back home If I do have a rear, $5+ shipping takes it if you want BTW THIS IS TOWLIEEE AGAIN! |

| Re: xr100r stunt? 100's are nice but if you get a good deal on a ttr125 jump on it.. I ended up selling my 636 and now ride the ttr. street tires-heavier oil in the forks-longer spacer or stiffer front springs-great stunt bike. Stoppies are pretty good but i think i will end up going with a braided front line-just my 2 cents |

Take it to a parking lot like everyone else does! Get a trailer/truck, do what you got to do.
