Thinking Of Building A Stunt 50 Bike Was up guy's been thinking of building a stunt 50 bike and was wonderinig what would be the best parts to use.I got a spare 88 engine and a standard crf 50 rolling chassis so was wondering what parts will i need to get and what are the best quality to get as i'm quite big and dont like the idea of snapping a 12 oclock bar and what rear hand brake should i use also should i upgrade the front and rear suspension and should i add a longer swing arm or leave it standard and finally what foot peg's do you recommend or should i mod some bmx foot peg's...thank's BUZZ

Re: Thinking Of Building A Stunt 50 Bike go to 50stunt.com and buy everything lol..jk. I suggest you buy their kits they have you save money and will definatelly end up buying all of it ( i bought mine all seperatelly). Get the 12 bar, rear pegs and rear hand brake for sure, thats all i have with the exception of their knurled footpegs which are a good buy aswell and thats all you need. I also suggest a set of street tires too, i went with Sava whitewalls from scooterworks, they are for vespas but they look pimp on the fiddy's

Re: Thinking Of Building A Stunt 50 Bike front suspension-hd springs, delrin bushings, plus 1 legs rear suspension-ishock no res 50 stunt bar kit 50stunt handbrake kit 50stunt rear pegs 50stunt foot pegs turboglenn t-bar 88 motor 50stunt extended front and rear brake arms tall seat joker brake pedal extension stock exhaust street tires stock swinger and frame note: trail bikes stage 2 setup with 15/34 gearing is by far THE BEST motor/gearing setup for stuntin. i am currently running a race head, which i do fine with, but miss my stage 2(stock head) for its smoothness. that is pretty much a premium stunt setup for your bike, if you're on a budget then some of those things can be home made (handbrake setup, rear pegs). i run pretty much the same setup listed above, here is a pic of my bike last year, it looks a bit different now but has pretty much all that stuff on it, except i run a bbr brake pedal for pimp factor. with a bike like this the only excuse you have for sucking is that you don't practice, lol ![]() and yes, i know how to ride it ![]() ![]() Last edited by trizzbizzle; 09-13-2007 at 04:37 PM.

Re: Thinking Of Building A Stunt 50 Bike I just have a completely STOCK xr50, and it works well, I love to do circle wheelies SOO much fun. And high chairs are soooo much eaiser with stock bars, keep that in mind, but stoppies are way to hard with out a big bar kit

Re: Thinking Of Building A Stunt 50 Bike First I'm a poser I used 50 Stunt stuff mostly, tried some Ebay stunt pieces but wasn't happy with the quality. I did use a Honda Ruckus front brake arm, works great for like $6. ![]()
