stunting front end? I just picked up a 50 with a BBR Super Pro Frame and Red Baron front end. I am selling the frame and going back to stock (with an ishock) so that I can start stunting the bike. I would like to keep the front end though. I was just curious if the Red Baron front end will be to heavy and if I should go for a stock front end with heavier springs? The bike has a 110cc motor, so it should pull the front end up fine...I would think?

Re: stunting front end? i would keep the bike as is and set it up for dirt, then try and get or build up a stunt bike, stockers seem to work best.

Re: stunting front end? id probably sell the front end too. Theres really no need for performance forks if you're just going to stunt it. You should have plenty of money from the front end and the frame to do a stunt build with a stock frame and forks. since you have the ishock i would suggest going with the +1 fork legs for the stock front end.

Re: stunting front end? Thanks for the input guys. Unfortunately I have no desire to have a 50 for the dirt. I bought the bike, knowing that it was set up for dirt, because I got such a good deal on it. I have a guy offering me his stock frame, a new ishock, and $500 cash for the frame. I thought I would keep the red baron front end, but it sounds like maybe I shouldn't. The same guy has a bbr s5 front end that he would like to trade for the red baron and a little cash. Would the bbr forks be better, or should I still just go with a stronger stock set up?

Re: stunting front end? Dont trade the red baron for a bbr front. Just get a stock set of forks with +1 legs and bushings!

| Re: stunting front end? Keep it like it is . You can stunt anything , but i'm not sure how heavy the red baron front end is . Either way , you can stunt it . There was a thread about this already . | Re: stunting front end? It looks like I am going to sell bike I have (see link just above this post) and put together a stunt specific 50. I know there are guys out there who can stunt anything...I'm just not one of them. Thanks for the input. |
