Stunt setup?

What do you stunters think about puting a 125 GPX in a 50? Im heading in that direction and dont really have a choice... Also im going to be puting the staggs conventional forks on, including a classic honda +2 1/2" swinger because it looks like the 50 stunt rear peg would fit on it. Any suggestions?

well i do a little of both, dirt and stunt. I am keeping the stock chassis but reinforcing it so i dont chopper it, but i will put that engine in it. have any of you guys tried a manual clutch stunt 50 with a pretty big motor?

should be fine except you won't be able to run a hand brake. The longer swingarm will make it harder to wheelie too. I put the stock swing arm back on my stunt bike and it made the balance point alot lower. So it just depends on what your going after, its not going to be the ideal stunt bike but you can stunt almost anything it just takes alot of pratice.

You can run a handbrake w/ a manual clutch. Just mount the brake lever over or under your clutch lever. Plenty of people doing it. It's done on big bikes so you can do it on fiddies too.
As far as the swinger and forks go. They will make it feel a lot different and the bp will be higher but hey I am rocking my xr70 w/ no problems. It's frame is longer than a fiddy and the swingarm is 2" longer also. Not to mention different height tires. Lot more comfortable though.
The manual clutch will help you in some situations and hurt in others. You won't like it as much for slow stuff. But, if you want to clutch it up while sitting on the tank or bars you can w/ ease.
I do think a gpx is a little bit overkill. Maybe a 107cc(110). Hell, I have a 117 in mine. Auto clutch though.

I stunt with a 108cc stroker and love it. Any setup can be stunted, stock motor requirement is a myth, I rock a 108cc with manual clutch in my 70, and 50, 2 levers on the left side, just like on my 450. Longer swingers, bigger forks, it does not matter, just changes the balance point.

He's not racing. Plus he doesn't need max hp to stunt. It keeps that torquey little motors sound level down I am sure. A stoked crank makes it a lot snappier on the bottom too. Most people don't stunt wide open so the 108 should actually be a pretty good stunt motor.
