street tires stock rim

whats everyone running? 2.5" or 3" ?? Just don't wanna order some tires that won't bead on the stock rims on a CRF50

I have Pirelli SL26s on my stock rims and they're 3.00" wide.

You can use what ever size tire you want as long as its 10 in.. There is no "beading" with spoked wheels, gotta use the tubes. Alot of people use IRC B 38's which are like 2.75 or something.

I run pirellis tubless on billets.

i have even ran a 3.50 but i would stay 2.75 or 3

I run the IRC 2.75s and they practically circle themselves and they are cheap.

right now i have a 2.50 on the front and a 2.75 n the rear but i dont like the way it looks. how will the performance be effected if i go to a 2.75 up front? also what size sprocket do you guys run in the rear

IRC's front and back, 37T (stock size) sprocket.

how about the cheng shin c917. i want to get a couple of 3.00s for my bike... will they mount up with stck wheels and stock forks with +1 legs

3.00 should fit fine. I used to run a pirelli 3.00 and a couple people i ride with run them too.

Yep 3" f&b and the gearing is -1, +3 although I don't really like the gearing

i am leaning toward runing a stock sprocket up front(15) and a 34 n the back hoping to see around 45-50mph while still maintaing decient torque in the low end
