Re: sprokets

Stock gearing works fine. do you have a big bore kit or a stock motor?

Re: sprokets

I think stock gearing is about the best for the stock motor

and with a big bore, its just whatever you wanna do.. with a 88 kit, I'd say go with a 34 rear, or a +1 front, or a 34 rear and +1 front.

But personally, I left my gearing stock with my 88 kit, and got a 4 speed tranny, so I got TONs of low end power for slow wheelies, but I still got more top speed then more people because of the 4 speed

Re: sprokets

Like he ^^said. Stick with the 38 if your motor is stock. I run a 34 with my 88 but use to use a stock sprocket as well. Just all about personal preference.

How ever many teeth you have in your mouth is how many teeth your sprocket should have, it's all about synchronism.

I'm rocking a 35 rear stock front with my 88 bore kit.
