Re: peg wheelie help knobbies can and will make a difference especially if the lugs are spaced wide. I don't understand the need for the hand brake though. Just use the footbrake. If you are sitting down that's what you should do in the first place. If you are standing up put left foot on rear peg and right on front peg and use the foot brake.

high chairs, seat standers, peg wheelies, whatever... Not to mention its just convenient, I use my hand brake more then my foot brake, even in the trails! If your knobbies are new, they are especially hard to wheelie on.. I can barley wheelie my 50 or 150 with brand new knobbies on it.. But with street tires I got combo's on lock | |

Re: peg wheelie help dude, I know what the handbrake is for. He said he is just starting to try wheelies. He doesn't need to try anything advanced yet. If he doesn't have the basics he shouldn't be trying all that stuff. I was trying to tell him nicely to stick to the easier stuff. I will say this though. If you learn to be good w/o using the brake you will be awesome once you start using it. I learned to ride the big bike w/o using the brake doing highway speeds so naturally I did that when I started stunting the fiddy. But, once I started using that rear brake it made everything come together especially when doing circles.

Re: peg wheelie help i have no problems at all doin bp wheelies or stunting my cbr in general its just ive never played with stunting the mini or with pegs on a rear axel and i dont even want to hear that it is the same thing cuz its not but anyways ive been trying leaving my foot on the front peg and using the brake and i find that i cant get my ankle to bend far enough to hit the brake so i said **** it and have been just using the throttle and its getting better but ordered some street tires and on another note is there a way to set up a hand brake using a hydraulic disk brake

Re: peg wheelie help stand staggered if you don't have a HB (right foot on right front peg to use brake)... the trick is to bring the bars up as close to your waiste as possible. then it's just days of practice
