Irk?

How many of you have an IRK on your bike? I'm debating getting one, but my bike is set up for more street/stunt than for racing. I just have the itch for some more power though. Does anyone have an IRK and what do you think about it? Does it make it tougher to stunt, and is it worth the price?

Re: Irk?

C'mon SOMEBODY has to have some input here! I like to race motard style sometimes, but I usually end up showing off with wheelies and stuff too. Is an IRK for me? I don't feel like messing with the clutch basket or whatever, but I heard that if I don't overrev I'm fine. Who has an IRK?

Re: Irk?

Not the best for stunting. I got one on my 108 dirt bike, before the IRK I could wheelie it no problem, now its got soo much engine brake and throttle is so choppy. My tb88 doesnt have one and I can circle combo the shi* outta that thing.

Re: Irk?

is your bike stock 50? if i were you to get a bump in power but not spend much would either be A: get a 99 dollar DrATV OPERATES HERE 88 bore kit and leave your stock head and carbeurator. or B: get a stock crf70 head and carbeurator.

Re: Irk?

Ya I just got that in. I love the torque it has, my problem is my flywheel is clicking and it looks like the inside is actually coming apart, kind of hard to explain. I am going to have to replace the flywheel but figured maybe an IRK would be better.

Re: Irk?

IRK will be like wheelying a 125 two-stroke, if you wanna stunt just get the bore kit and leave everything else. it wont be lightning fast but will bump your tq up wich you need. or spend 300 bucks and get the tak s-cut 106 and leave everything else stock!
