cheng shin C917 highwaymax tires are the ****...they get grippy as hell ( i could never do a rolling burnout on them except in the rain. and they held up great in fast low circles. at the stealership they are 11 dollars each + tax.. usually costs me 24 dollars a year for tires as long as i don't lock up the rear all teh time

oh yea., they're plenty durable... a rear usually lasts me about a year before it gets worn enough to even think about replacing it. I usually don't change teh front untill i get one of those mystery flats that just keeps coming back, then i change the tire just to be safe.

Re: Cheapest Crf50 Street Tires

Them first ones posted up, the IRC's, i've been running them for a long time

I've actually only have had 1 front tire the entire time i've stunted... Same irc mb38. Its actually after almost 2 years, the tread has just became chopped and now its ready to replace.

Rears however, I run the cheapest I can find.. I don't really care what it is as long as its 2.75 or bigger.. Because I usually just burn them off.. But even then, the IRC's still last me a LONG time doing burnouts.. Im talking they'l last for a solid 20+ minutes of burning..

Sometimes i'l just do rolling burnouts around our spot for 3 minutes SOLID lol

Those tires look good! Do you have any pictures of the whole bike with them on?

Re: Cheapest Crf50 Street Tires

+1 to boatguy.. the ruckus arm is teh best braking mod you can buy for less than lunch at applebees

i like the stock drum with a ruckus arm better than my storm front disk setup

is that the front or rear arm? on teh ruckus front one, there's a throw limiting tab that you must dremel off for them to work right

It's the front arm, I attached it 180 out from the way it mounts on the Ruckus, fits perfect!

I sold the bike by the way

I might do another build next year?
