Broke the mile barrier

I go out about once a day and do a couple laps around the neighborhood, been doing this for about 3 years. I have had a goal of a mile long wheelie on the 50 for a while. Last summer I did a .9 mile staggered standup. This summer I have gotten a few sitdowns to .5 mile.

Today I was out for a casual rip and cranked off a 1.3 mile sitdown wheelie. As you might have guessed I jumped in the car to measure it.

The green line is the path of the wheelie. The red dot is my house.

No one probably cares but I thought it was cool.

Those cross country wheelie really helped me get my seat standers down. Now i can ride one in 2nd gear until the bead on my tire blows

Re: Broke the mile barrier

I watched a guy that used to hang with us ride a 7 mile standup down the highway on his R1. It was the wheelie and the car that ran the red light that got him in the end. Wheelies and corners kill.
