Re: what suspension is the best??? Rear Setup is easy: Sano or Five-O +4 Works, Elka, or Fox Shock (Stay away from ISHOCK) Front end: Theres many options you can go with. Zokes will be too much $$$ if your doing a rear setup and only have $1,000. Could find a set of KTM 65sx forks and just mod the triples to fit the 70 stem. Kx65 forks(have to mod the triples). Or the easy way out and get a set of crf80/100 forks for the mean time, and save up till you can find a better setup for the front.

| Re: what suspension is the best??? BBR forks aren't that bad, know a few people who run them. I'm running a set of SGR forks. They're $699 if I remember correctly. I've got a set on my KLX110 and LOVE them. Great feel and a lot of adjustment, almost comparable to the new zokes once you change out the oil. SGR/ Staggs is a merchant member on here, you can contact him and talk to him about them. CRF80 forks will only do so much for you, but they will be better than stock. But if you want a long term solution that isn't the way to go.

Re: what suspension is the best??? In order to run the crf100 forks, you will need the BBR top clamp so you can adjust the height of the forks. But like I said and JJW said, there not the best for long term. Now if you have $1500. I would suggest finding a cheap used set of Zokes for a crf70 if you can. Otherwise do what JJW said and run some SGR Forks, the ones that are of the Pitster X4. They will do wonders once they are setup right. But for the rear, I would suggest what I said be4 because your not going with a mono setup.

Re: what suspension is the best??? Just cause BBR makes something doesn't mean its awesome. I haven't ridden the BBR forks so I can't really say yes or no on them. I think what everyone is saying is that there are other options available that are better and are very good deals. I'm not 100% sure that the SGR forks will bolt right up easy to the 70 but if they do then that would be a great frontend.

Re: what suspension is the best??? Funny you mention this. I've spent the last month tearing my dirtbike down and fixing it. Tomorrow I'm getting my back wheel so I'll get to see if it's still raked or if what I changed fixed it. Pics will be up tomorrow afternoon.
