Pipe ?'s

Ok guys, I need some advice. Since the weathers been such crap here I decided to finish up my 70 the way I wanted it. I had Kendall do my GPX motor so it's now a 146 with the ported/polished big valve head. I have the Pro Circuit T4 pipe right now but I'm wondering if there is a better option. I'm not looking for a different pipe just because, I actually am wondering if there would be a better performing pipe for this motor setup. As far as bolt on pipes it's pretty limited. Would the M-6 be any better or is it similar to the T4? It's a shame they don't make an FMF 4.1 to fit the 70, that thing is huge! I guess the only other option I can think of would be the CHP ultima for the 50 and mod it like ibmike did. I really wish I could do the titanium ultima! Any ideas on how difficult it would be to mod that one? Thanks for any input.

Since you have the lifan head and you have bored it I would say run the biggest darn thing you can. Go w/ the 4.1 or get a CHP. Adding just the Ultima on my 131 gave me .3hp more over the pipe I was running.

Does Ti Force make a pipe for the 70's? That would be a nice setup!

The T-4 is ok but it may be a little bit small for that configuration. Best I could tell you is if you want your T-4 to work better get the 2 inch insert and remove the spark arrestor.

Oh I forgot CHP makes the ultima specifically for the 70. But no matter what pipe you use it is not going to fit exactly right because of the taller cylinder of your Gpx

I think I'm gonna go with the Ti CHP ultima and do some fab work to make it fit like ibmike did with his. That seems to be as big as any pipe out there and looks great. I'll get pics posted up as soon as it's done later next week.

Dont do it unless you know some one that can weld it back together, most weld shops are not set up to weld TI

I have been looking around for awhile and found a local fab shop set up to weld Ti. After some thought though, I just went with the stainless ultima. As bling as the ti pipe looks I just didn't feel like spending that much cash.
