Going to build a budget 70 I bought an XR70 at an auction for 400 bucks and plan on building it slowly. Thinking about adding these Ching chang forks and an extended swinger at first then adding more later. Do you think these will work? eBay Motors: ADJUSTABLE INVERTED FORK FORKS CRF XR50 XR CRF50 50 70 (item 160259490342 end time Jul-15-08 17 37 PDT)

Re: Going to build a budget 70 Better off buying the good stuff used. Good backyard setup xr/crf80 forks HD Springs or make spacers Works 70 extended shock or Fox Air Shock +5 or +4 if you want gold chain for swinger TB88 with race head piston and cam Last edited by 357 Racing; 07-14-2008 at 01:41 PM.

Re: Going to build a budget 70 wat up? i'm a 50 racer jumping up to the 70. i need more info on the xr/cf 80 forks ( stock? bolt on? etc? ) i started with stock 70 forks with long dampening rods & heavier springs. it works ok but the bike seems to push in the turns. also the shock mount on the stock frame seems too high?? is there a relocator? i have an ishock but it seems too short??? i'm looking for mid price level bike set up? any suggestions?
