E22 head vs stock 70 head

I put the United motors 110 head on the XR last night after getting the rest of my parts in. Timing was perfect. Valve clearance perfect. No go. I ordered an E22 head. Do these have a bigger cam or do you gain anything from this head? Bike also has an 88kit.

THanks

Re: E22 head vs stock 70 head

That 'United Motors 110' head is likely an E22. When you say 'no go' whats happening?

Re: E22 head vs stock 70 head

Like I mentioned in the other thread it ran for a bit but terrible. Backfiring and all. Timing is perfect. Valves are set. No idea.

Re: E22 head vs stock 70 head

Put the E22 head on today. Started first kick runs like a champ. Go figure.
