Building A 70

Hi from Australia!

Well im looking to build myself a midsize 70 from a stocka.

But i want it to have a high seat height cause my dad believes there a bunch of kids bikes lol

Would the midsize chinese zoke replicas go straight into it? will everything fit? like brakes and stuff?

Also could i chuck on a chinga swingarm and a DNM to rais the rear aswell?

Remeber im looking for a cheap option here?

Or could i just buy one from america and send it here? because australias way too expensive!

For the rear your going to need somemetal, welder, and a cutoff wheel. If not contact SSR for the forks and stuff.

Re: Building A 70

Your best option will be stuff from SSR. Parts from their SSR150R will fit right up to your 70.

Re: Building A 70

would the pitster x4 forks slip right into it? what goes on with the brakes then?

oh and that means i can use any type of midsize swinger? as the pitster ones and ssr140tx,ogm etc are the same?

Re: Building A 70

i have a ishock v2 for the rear and a fast ace fork setup for the front if you would like it. you need the tripple clamps for the forks. i could do 320 shipped for both to your door step

Re: Building A 70

If you ran the fast ace (50) forks with a 14" front rim I think it will rub the front fender. <after you figure put a way to mount it if course.

DNM (pitster) forks will not bolt striaght up.

Your best best is to try and find a SSR150R roller. It will have the good frame, suspension, tall seat, brakes, etc. It will cost some money but in the long run its going to be cheaper. IMO

^^^
Why is that? The suspension has been proven to work pretty well.

Because it's cheap chinese crap. No quality control at all. And the dealers/manufactures don't care. Especially when you buy the parts separate, it's hard enough to get anything taken care of when you buy the whole bike.

IF I was the OP i would save up and get some good quality parts (used even) I'd rather pay more for something good quality then buy something cheap and have to buy it 5 times....
