| Frist of all you don't know what really going on and as for 2-stroke days are just coming to an end soon yes this is 100% and the truth be know it had nothing do what you all think has more to do with the Environmental Protection Agency in USA and other area a round the world. The reason why two stroke are coming to end and it not just Motocross bike but any all 2-stroke becuases they spit out unburn oils that pollutant which is bad for the Environmental, How min of you started seeing 4-stroke weed eater, leaf blower and so on and I'm sure sooner or later we start seeing 4-stroke chainsaw in fast I know there work on them but the biggest problem is torque curve. 2-stroke tend to peak their torque curve near their max rpm where 4-stroke reach max torque quite a bit below max rpm. The main reason why 2-stroke are still round is becuases of it smaller displacement ligther in weight with an avg of 3x more hosepower over 4-stroke in the same size displacement. The truth is AMA will not have any chosse in matter in when Environmental Protection Agency step in after all there one that want 2-stroke gone but there being nice in stead of outlaw 2-stroke they asking Manufacturer to stop making them and stop making parts. Beside that CRF150 is nothing more then an replayment for 80/85cc youth class midsize bike. I think the main reaon why Honda come out with better 150 this year is coner the martek sooner is becuases a lot people are build up 4-stroke-conversion from a CR80/85 motocross bike over for suspension unlike 80/100/150 poor suspension. a couple things here... FIRST, is that honda re-did their CR85 engine in '05. it rips. its faster than all previous genration honda 85's with a port job and a pipe.... bone stock. second is that two-strokes have been being phased out for 4+years now, and Honda has led the charge. they have more pull within ANY and ALL racing organizations, worldwide, than any other mfg, PERIOD. why??? because they sell more motorcycles than ALL other mfg's COMBINED. honda debuted their 4-stroke motoGP bike before anyone... they had a prototype before the rule was even changed-- they knew it would happen- THEY pushed for it!!! now they've had their 800cc bike for 2 years, and the rule doesnt go into effect until next season. i promise you this- like them or hate them-- honda hits the ground running when it comes to racing-- selling more bikes than anyone else gives them the capital to spend on racing and devolpment. i'll promise you another thing=- these 150's WILL be faster than 85's. not because i say so, or Dagner does, or who ever... but because Honda would NOT take a step backwards in performance. they know they have to meet EPA reg's, and they know they have to win to sell their products. win on sunday, sell on monday.
