wow u d you even know whats infront of you? this bike was built back in 2000 well before cr85's existed. you call a honda f3 DOHC head and piston a jalopy.......well sir then your pitbike engine is the equivelant of a stirling rotating engine!

Re: The original CRF150

hahaha. nooo thats not what i meant. ok sorry. cr80 bottom end. and i just looks wierd compared to the 150 topends that they have now. the bottom end looks kinda tiny for the topend i guess? maybe thats why it looks weird.

Re: The original CRF150

lol understandable. you gota think thats a two stroke bottom end, no cam chain guide, oil pump or anything stock. they had to modify big time to turn it into a 4 stroker

That engine must have cost like $20K all said and done? And I thought race car engines were expensive!

Re: The original CRF150

Yeah-- It's on the BBR website in the Videos section at some '01stroke National event. I think some company in Virginia built it. They did have like $20,000 into it.

Re: The original CRF150

kurlon, this shows a 2-stroke 80 bottom end is capable of high HP builds. now start strong-arming those chinese case manufacturers
